Electric scooters have a way of dying in the middle of summer, usually about ten minutes after your kid asked to ride. We stock electric scooter batteries at our Willoughby shop so a dead ride gets fixed the same day instead of sitting in the garage while a shipping tracker crawls. Most of these rides run 12 volt sealed batteries wired into 24, 36, or 48 volt packs. Bring us the old set, or the whole scooter, and we'll match it. Here's what to expect at the counter:

• Matched sets for multi-battery packs, because one weak battery drags the whole pack down to its level.
• Batteries for GEM cars and other street-legal low-speed vehicles, if your ride has a windshield and a plate.
• Free testing on your old batteries and your charger, because sometimes the charger quit first, and we'd rather tell you that than sell you a set you don't need.
• Straight answers on which replacement fits your model, even when the sticker on the old battery wore off years ago.

Electric scooter batteries are a stock item for us, not a special order.
