When a UPS starts beeping in the back office or an alarm panel throws a low-battery fault, the unit itself is usually fine — the sealed lead-acid battery inside it has just worn out. That's the most common reason people carry a UPS into our shop in Willoughby: not a dead system, just a battery at the end of its life.
