The NEBO Redline Flex runs on the included 14500 rechargeable battery or a standard AA. If the rechargeable dies in the field, a AA from your glovebox, a gas station, or any junk drawer gets you back to work. NEBO calls it Flex-Power. It means you're not stuck because you forgot to charge it.
On the rechargeable, you get four modes. Turbo hits 450 lumens and reaches 237 meters — use it for scanning or spotting. It runs in 40-second bursts, then steps back to your previous mode automatically to prevent overheating. Turbo can be reactivated any time you need it. High mode runs 250 lumens for 2.5 hours; low holds 80 lumens for 5.5 hours. Strobe runs 250 lumens for 2 hours — useful for roadside signaling or emergency use.
On a standard AA, output drops — high lands at 90 lumens, low at 30. Not as bright, but it'll get you out of a jam when the rechargeable is spent and there's no outlet nearby.
The 6x zoom is a twist on the bezel: spot for distance, flood for close work. At 4.23 inches collapsed (4.70" extended) and 0.2 lbs, the body is anodized aircraft-grade aluminum — water and impact-resistant. The dual-direction steel clip works both ways: shirt pocket, cap brim, or gear bag strap. The magnetic base parks it on any metal surface when you need both hands free.
Charges via Micro USB in about 2 hours. The battery indicator on the side button tells you where you stand before you head out.
