Some boats don't have room for a three-battery bank, and some owners are done lugging one down the dock. The Lithium Rhino LR38V65AH-M is a 36V 65Ah lithium trolling motor battery that weighs 45.4 lb, measures 14.65 by 10.51 inches, and seals out water to an IP67 rating.
That rating matters in a small boat. IP67 means the case is built to survive being briefly submerged, so spray over the bow, a puddle in the bilge, or rain pooling in the rear compartment isn't a threat to it. The battery also has its own full-color LCD on the shell, and the kit adds a round console gauge, so you can read state of charge at the helm without opening a hatch.
A Lighter Way to Run a 36V Trolling Motor
Your 36V motor currently draws from three 12V lead-acid batteries linked in series. This single pack replaces all three. You lose the jumper cables between batteries and the watering schedule, and the lead-acid charger stays behind in the garage, because lithium wants its own charge profile. The included 15A waterproof charger brings it from empty to full in roughly four and a half hours.
Runtime depends on how hard you lean on the throttle. Lithium Rhino rates it for 156 minutes at a constant 25 amps, which is about two and a half hours of steady high draw. Most anglers spend a lot of the day at lower speeds, so on a smaller boat working the Chagrin River mouth at Eastlake or the breakwalls off Mentor-on-the-Lake, a half day to a full day is a realistic expectation. If you fish dawn to dark on big water with a large motor, the 120Ah version is the better buy, and we'll tell you so.
Two limits worth knowing up front. Lithium Rhino doesn't support connecting two of these in series, so each boat gets one pack running the whole 36V system. And as a deep-cycle battery, it isn't made to crank an outboard. Send us your motor model and a tape measure reading of your battery tray, and we'll confirm the fit before you drive over.

Warranty: 8 Years on the Battery
Lithium Rhino backs the battery (cells, BMS and built-in electronics) for eight years from the date you buy it, and the claim runs through our counter:
- Years 1–6: repair or replacement at no cost to you, shipping included.
- Years 7–8: repair or replacement for a flat $500 deductible; Lithium Rhino covers the rest.
- Kit components (the 15A waterproof charger, console gauge and mounting hardware): two years of full replacement, then replacement at half of current list price for the life of the battery.
Register the battery with Lithium Rhino within 120 days of purchase. An unregistered battery is covered for one year only; we'll do the registration with you at the counter. Physical damage, water intrusion, improper installation and charging with a charger Lithium Rhino hasn't approved are not covered, so stay with the charger that came in the kit.
