The Lithium Rhino LR38V105AH is a 36V lithium golf cart battery for owners who need the cart to last the whole day: 105Ah and just over 4,000Wh in one LiFePO4 pack, rated by Lithium Rhino for 50 miles per charge.

Two things drive that range. First is sheer capacity, well over half again what the 36V 65Ah kit carries. Second is how lithium delivers it. A lead-acid bank loses voltage steadily as it drains, and you feel that as a cart that gets slower with every trip. LiFePO4 holds its voltage much flatter, so the cart on the ride home feels like the cart that left the driveway.

The Extras That Come With This Kit

This is the kit built for carts that do more than carry golfers. It includes a 40A 12V DC reducer, which runs headlights and other 12V accessories off the lithium battery, and a secondary power button for the dash, so you can switch the battery on or off from the seat. Charging goes through a 25A fast charger on a standard 110V outlet; Lithium Rhino puts a full charge at about four hours. The lead-acid charger you have now isn't built for lithium, so retire it with the old batteries.

Fitting a 36V 105Ah Lithium Golf Cart Battery in Your Cart

This battery replaces all six 6V lead-acid batteries in a 36V cart, but it's a bigger box than the 65Ah model at 15.4 by 13.4 by 9.3 inches. The kit ships with mounting brackets and a metal drill bit because most installs mean drilling a few holes to secure it. Set aside two to four hours. Like any golf cart lithium conversion kit, fit comes down to your tray, so call us with your cart's year, make and model and we'll check it before you buy. If your tray is tight, the 36V 65Ah kit fits in a single-battery footprint.

Warranty: 8 Years on the Battery

Lithium Rhino backs the battery (cells, BMS and built-in electronics) for eight years from the date you buy it, and the claim runs through our counter:

• Years 1–6: repair or replacement at no cost to you, shipping included.
• Years 7–8: repair or replacement for a flat $500 deductible; Lithium Rhino covers the rest.
• Kit components (the charger, 12V reducer, gauge, cables and switches): two years of full replacement, then replacement at half of current list price for the life of the battery.

Register the battery with Lithium Rhino within 120 days of purchase. An unregistered battery is covered for one year only; we'll do the registration with you at the counter. Physical damage, water intrusion, improper installation and charging with a charger Lithium Rhino hasn't approved are not covered, so stay with the charger that came in the kit.
