That's why we just launched Share Your Bulldog Battery Story, a quick form where any agency that's run our re-celled batteries in the field can put their experience on the record, in their own words.
Why We Built It
Most of how this industry talks about batteries is glossy datasheets and sales pitches. We send a re-celled pack and wait three years to hear how it ran.
The truth is, we don't need to write the marketing copy. The crews already have. Operations managers, fleet techs, EMS chiefs: they've been telling us for years what our rebuilds do for their shift change, their service intervals, their budget line items. We just never made it easy for them to share that publicly.
The new story page does three things:
- Two-minute submission. A star rating, which products you run, the biggest benefit you've seen, and a few sentences in your own words. That's it.
- You choose attribution. Full attribution (your name, title, and agency), anonymous (role and region only), or internal only if your department doesn't allow public testimonials.
- Every story comes through Eric before anything goes public. He confirms the words with you before we use them.
What Kinds of Stories We're Hoping to Hear

What We Do With the Stories
The short answer: only what you give us permission to do.
Approved stories may appear on our website, in our outreach to other agencies who are evaluating a battery rebuild program, and occasionally on our LinkedIn. We don't publish your name or agency without your okay, and if you change your mind later, email Eric and we'll take it down the same day.
Stories marked "internal only" stay between us. That's useful when your department needs sign-off you don't yet have, but you still want us to know how we're doing.
Why Peer Reviews Matter in EMS Battery Procurement
Battery procurement in EMS, fire, and patient transport is one of those line items that gets revisited every two or three years, usually after a failure, often under budget pressure, and almost always with limited information. Datasheets don't tell you whether a re-celled Stryker battery will still hold capacity at year four. A sales pitch doesn't tell you whether a vendor will pick up the phone in October when your charger throws a fault.
Peer reviews from other agencies do. The way most fleet managers actually figure out who to trust is by calling a buddy at the agency two counties over. That's the gap we're trying to close.
